Our electric bridge cranes meet CMAA class C standards and our runway systems are designed to AISC specifications. CraneWerks components meet CMAA, HMI, NEC, ANSI & OSHA requirements.

Role Description of the Regional Sales Engineer

This is a full-time Regional Sales Engineer role at CraneWerks Inc. located in Morristown, IN, for someone with strong business planning and sales skills. The Regional Sales Engineer will be responsible for increasing sales by servicing existing accounts and obtaining new orders, establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on potential customers, recruiting, training and developing dealers, working with their sales representatives to call on end users, measuring dealer engagement and success, working with them to consistently grow sales, keeping management informed by entering call information into our CRM system and filling out weekly call schedules, submitting requests for quotes for our inside sales team to develop proposals, maintaining both professional and technical knowledge base, proactively resolving customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management, and incorporating new and existing sales plans and marketing strategies to meet or exceed sales goals. The role occasionally requires long hours.

Qualifications to be our Regional Sales Engineer

  • High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • 3-5 years of B2B sale experience (Required, industrial focus preferred,) with verifying references
  • Experience in the material handling industry (Preferred)
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Sage, ClickUp, etc.)
  • Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read and understand basic parts and construction drawings
  • Relational salesperson who’s a driven self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Clean driving record over past 2 years

License/Certification

Driver’s License (Required)
