Precision engineered for optimal performance, these monorail units are built for reliable operation, high efficiency, and long service life and are competitively priced for the U.S. market.

Standard safety features include block-operated limit switch, adjustable geared limit switch, motor, temperature control, and overload protection.

2-part single or 4-part single reeving is available, depending on the application.

Hoists can be configured to your unique application needs. Available in 5 frame sizes with 16 load capacity variants.

Assembled in Wadesboro, North Carolina, with German-made components, these units have short lead times to meet tight deadlines.

Of the Yale wire rope hoists, the “Y80” is ideally suited for virtually any lifting application. Their modular design and versatility provide a wide range of capacities, lifts, hoist speeds, and control options, making it possible to select the most efficient hoist for the job without wasted capacity or overkill.

The Yale wire rope hoist, “LodeKing LT™,” provides the same high-quality performance and durability of the original LodeKing™ in an ultra-low-headroom design, making it the ideal choice when purchasing a new or replacement hoist for applications with space limitations.
The LodeKing LT™ features plastic-infused wire rope that prevents metal-to-metal contact between strands, helping to reduce abrasion and wear within the wire rope. The LodeKing LT™ low-headroom models are available in capacities from 10 to 25 tons and, depending on your application needs, are available in economical low-horsepower, top-running and deck-mount models.

Cable King

Yale Wire Rope Hoists

The Yale wire rope hoist, “Cable King” is ideal for heavy-duty applications. The one-piece welded steel frame, machined steel drum, closed bottom blocks, motor and its mounting with a bolt, simple, geared or motorized carriage, make it a robust, reliable and heavy-duty unit. Designed and manufactured under OSHA 1910.179, HMI-100-74, ASME B30.2, HST-4, CMMA 70 &74 NEC/NFPA 70 standards.
Standard Benefits & Features:

  • Frame: One-piece welded steel made from heavy structural shapes provides a rugged, and durable foundation for precise mounting and alignment of the hoisting machinery.
  • Gearing: Precision spur gearing machined from high-alloy steel or drop forgings is case hardened for quiet operation and long life. Gearing operates in a precision machined ductile iron or steel gearcase and is oil bath lubricated.
  • Rope Drum: Fabricated steel drum machined with grooving cuts up to 50% of the rope’s diameter to guard against the rope jumping out of the groove, which can damage and weaken the rope.
  • Bottom Blocks: Enclosed blocks with 360 degree hook rotation. All hooks provided with a spring loaded hook latch as standard.
  • Motors: High starting torque made especially for hoisting service. The motors are TENV, 30-minute rated with class F insulation and thermostats as standard.
  • Automotive-type drive shaft: Borrowing from the automotive industry, Cable King hoists incorporated a smooth running, long-lasting drive shaft for effective power transmission from the motor to the drive gearing.
  • Brakes: Weston screw-type load control brake and disk-type AC motor brake rated at a minimum 125% of the motor’s torque.
  • Controls: One and two speed and variable frequency housed in a NEMA 12 enclosure as standard. The 115-volt control circuit is fused.
  • Limit Switch: As standard an upper and lower adjustable geared control circuit limit switch is provided along with an upper block-plugging limit switch.
