CraneWerks Inc. is a manufacturer of overhead material handling equipment including top running, under-hung free standing, semi-free standing & ceiling supported runway systems, bridge cranes, monorail systems & hoists. Our services include engineering, designing, fabrication, assembling & installation & testing. We also provide turnkey services. Our electric bridge cranes meet CMAA class C standards and our runway systems are designed to AISC specifications. CraneWerks components meet CMAA, HMI, NEC, ANSI & OSHA requirements.
Role Description
This is a full-time Installer role at CraneWerks Inc. located in Morristown, Indiana, with frequent travel. As an Installer, you will be responsible for:
- Following blueprints and layout specifications to accurately layout floor and ceiling supported systems according to prints
- Moving parts into position manually or using cranes, forklifts, or telehandlers, and ensure proper rigging of equipment.
- Installing various types of cranes and support structures, and verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using squares, lasers, and measuring tapes.
- Performing startup and load tests.
- Traveling frequently (~75% of the time,) sometimes involving overnight stays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Understanding of structural basics, including rigging, welding, erection and reinforcements
- Welding is a plus but not required
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Operate equipment such as man lifts, forklifts, cranes and telehandlers
- General electrical knowledge is a plus
License/Certification
