Role Description

We are seeking a Field Project Manager who will play a critical role in the execution of our projects. This position involves frequent travel to customer locations, active participation in project planning, and on-site installation assistance. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for hands-on work, we want you on our team.

Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility and adaptability in team-based settings
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Prior hands-on experience in Industrial Material Handling (mechanical and/or electrical fabrication or installation)
  • Experience in Project or Construction Management
  • Experience in estimating or managing field service/installation personnel

*Please note: This is not an office position and often requires hands-on, onsite work.


As our Field Project Manager, you will:

  • Travel to customer locations to attend client meetings and assist in determining project requirements.
  • Estimate project costs and collaborate with customers, design, and engineering teams during the planning phase.
  • Assist in determining and purchasing the correct components for projects.
  • Monitor project progress, including work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Communicate relevant project information effectively and accurately to clients and project teams.
  • Ensure client needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Maintain tracking logs and manage contemplated change notices and change orders.
  • Share ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, encouraging this attitude in others.
  • Keep the Production Manager and other team members informed about project status and potential issues that may impact client relations.
  • Participate in the installation process, assist with on-site project startups, and provide support as needed.
