Role Description

We’re looking for a talented SolidWorks Designer/Draftsman who can create technical drawings and drafts according to specifications and building requirements. You will submit drafts for review and make necessary changes based on feedback. Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks software, coupled with an excellent eye for detail and strong technical skills, is essential. Your ability to outline construction processes and engineering requirements in a clear and understandable manner will be key to your success.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Draftsman in the Engineering department
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design software such as SolidWorks and 3D modeling tools
  • Excellent technical and strong mathematical skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to collaborate and work independently
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to manage stressful situations and meet strict deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Drafting/Engineering preferred
  • 1 year of experience with Revit and/or SolidWorks preferred

As our National Sales Manager, you will:

  • Create technical drawings as per the specifications and calculations provided
  • Use SolidWorks software and modeling tools to create rough sketches and detailed drawings
  • Communicate with Engineers to determine technical requirements
  • Submit drafts to Engineers for review
  • Ensure that final designs meet industry standards
  • Examine and note any errors in technical designs
  • Calculate weight limitations and other structural dimensions before beginning work
  • Make changes to technical drawings and drafts based on feedback from the Engineering team
