CraneWerks Inc. is a manufacturer of overhead material handling equipment including top running, under-hung free standing, semi-free standing & ceiling supported runway systems, bridge cranes, monorail systems & hoists. Our services include engineering, designing, fabrication, assembling & installation & testing. We also provide turnkey services. Our electric bridge cranes meet CMAA class C standards and our runway systems are designed to AISC specifications. CraneWerks components meet CMAA, HMI, NEC, ANSI & OSHA requirements.

Role Description

This is a full-time Installation Coordinator role at CraneWerks Inc. located in Morristown, IN. The Installation Coordinator will be responsible for working interdepartmentally onsite at our shop to coordinate all installation projects.

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Construction Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Construction Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Lift Equipment: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Scheduling: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate near Morristown, IN 46161 before starting work

As our Installation Coordinator, you will:

  • Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with production manager to rectify damages and shortages (or delegate responsibility to shop assistant)
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the production manager
  • Coordinate with installation crews and monitor job progress, communicate with installer(s) who are onsite to ensure that things go according to plan
  • Ensure lift equipment is rented and off rented for installation jobs
  • Compose installation packets and review when crews return
  • Hold pre-installation meetings with installation crews
  • Understand equipment needs and rents equipment as needed (special equipment include: carry decks, telehandlers, etc.)
  • Put system manuals together and ensures all installation material and equipment is loaded onto trucks
  • Compose list of skid material for systems and delegates as needed
  • Verify all material is loaded for system shipments (collectors, radios, manuals, touch up paint, etc.)
  • Become familiar with all SOPs related to your department
