CraneWerks Inc. is a manufacturer of overhead material handling equipment including top running, under-hung free standing, semi-free standing & ceiling supported runway systems, bridge cranes, monorail systems & hoists. Our services include engineering, designing, fabrication, assembling & installation & testing. We also provide turnkey services. Our electric bridge cranes meet CMAA class C standards and our runway systems are designed to AISC specifications. CraneWerks components meet CMAA, HMI, NEC, ANSI & OSHA requirements.

Role Description of the Industrial Sales Engineer

  • Increase sales by servicing existing accounts and obtaining new orders
  • Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on potential customers
  • Recruit, train and develop dealers, working with their sales representatives to call on end users
  • Measure dealer engagement and success, working with them to consistently grow sales
  • Keep management informed by entering call information into Salesforce and filling out weekly call schedules
  • Submit requests for quotes for our inside sales team to develop proposals
  • Maintain both professional and technical knowledge base
  • Proactively resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management
  • Incorporate new and existing sales plans and marketing strategies to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Occasionally work long hours

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read and understand basic parts and construction drawings
  • Relational salesperson who’s a driven self-starter
  • Must reside in the Southeastern U.S. or be willing to relocate there
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Clean driving record over past 2 years
  • 3-5 years B2B sales experience (industrial focus preferred), with a proven track record and the references to verify it
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred

License/Certification
