CraneWerks Inc. is a manufacturer of overhead material handling equipment including top running, under-hung free standing, semi-free standing & ceiling supported runway systems, bridge cranes, monorail systems & hoists. Our services include engineering, designing, fabrication, assembling & installation & testing. We also provide turnkey services. Our electric bridge cranes meet CMAA class C standards and our runway systems are designed to AISC specifications. CraneWerks components meet CMAA, HMI, NEC, ANSI & OSHA requirements.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Wire Technician at CraneWerks Inc. in Morristown, IN. As a Wire Technician, your daily tasks will include assembling bridge cranes, wiring, installing decals and motor control panels, and verifying the correct wiring within control panels on equipment prior to installation. Key duties include wire layout and cutouts on inner pans and motor control panels, interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams, ensuring the proper installation and connection of electrical components, collaborating with the installation team for seamless integration of electrical systems, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment while strictly adhering to safety protocols. This role involves working primarily in the shop environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in electrical wiring and layout
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of electrical control panels, drives, contractors, transformers, and 460V equipment.
  • Understanding of general electrical principles and safety procedures.
  • Ability to use a meter.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong focus on quality and safety skills.
  • Experience in the Material Handling industry is a plus.
  • Ability to commute and/or relocate to Morristown, IN

License/Certification
